1. Remove the old radio
Start by removing the old radio from the car so you can access the vehicle’s original connectors and wiring.
- Switch the car off completely before you begin
- Carefully remove the panels around the radio
- Unscrew the old radio
- Disconnect all plugs from the old radio
2. Fit the screen into the radio fascia
Radios with product numbers F and G are supplied with a separate screen and radio fascia.
The screen must therefore be fitted into the radio fascia before installation in the car.
- Carefully place the screen into the radio fascia
- Align the screw holes
- Secure the screen using the supplied small screws
- Tighten the screws carefully – avoid overtightening
3. Identify the type of radio cable
Compare your cable with the image below and find the type that matches your car:

Left: With CANBUS box

Centre: With white connector, without CANBUS box

Right: Without CANBUS
4. Connect the cables to the new radio
Connect the black end of the radio cable to the back of the new radio. Then connect all white plugs to the radio.
- Connect the black main plug to the back of the radio
- Connect all white plugs to the relevant ports
- Connect the CANBUS box if included
5. Connect the signal cable
Remember to connect the white plug from the signal cable to the back of the radio. This ensures a stable connection to your phone.
6. Fit the FM adapter if required
- Locate the radio’s round antenna connector
- Connect the FM adapter
- Check that it is fitted correctly
7. Fit the GPS and WiFi antenna
- The GPS antenna can be fitted if needed
- The WiFi antenna can be fitted if needed
- Your phone often provides the best signal
8. Set up CANBUS and steering wheel controls
- Connect the radio to WiFi
- Open Factory Settings
- Use PIN code: 000000, 1234, 3378, 8878, 8888 or 16176699
- Select the correct CANBUS profile
- Set up the steering wheel controls via the SWC app
9. Set Up Apple CarPlay or Android Auto
- Open the T-Link or Z-Link app
- Follow the on-screen setup
- Approve the connection on your phone
10. Troubleshooting
- Open Factory Settings
- Try Factory Reset
- Try System Update
- The radio must be connected to WiFi
